Mission Statement

RGR Alternative Fuels believes that small steps CAN yield great results. Our company goals are to contribute to a cleaner environment and our economic recovery. Starting with local fleet companies we will expand and continue to supply new and existing vehicles with safe, efficient and environmentally friendly alternative fuel conversions. Our product meets current federal standards and sets a benchmark for the alternative fuel conversions to follow.

Our Story

In 2005, my family’s business, Home Maid, Inc., which has provided cleaning services for the entire Las Vegas Valley since 1989, was growing tremendously. To help meet the increasing demand for our services, we were looking for additional vehicles to add to the Home Maid fleet. One day while I was driving to a job I noticed a CNG van and the company decided to take a chance and see what alternatively fueled vehicles were all about.

We realized that lower fuel cost was the major benefit of owning a CNG work van. These savings kept the business profitable, especially during gasoline price spikes currently and in 2008 and through economic downturn. Also, we wanted to help improve air quality in the Valley. These are the reasons why I decided to start RGR Alternative Fuels.

Today, Home Maid’s entire fleet of 8 vehicles runs well on CNG. The company profits from a lower fuel price and saves on maintenance expenses. Additionally, Home Maid, Inc. is proud to be the first cleaning business in the Las Vegas Valley that operates its fleet exclusively on Alternative Fuel.
